Donald is the youngest brother of Muriel Smith, Edna Sambrook, Lillian Robilliard and Frederick Prentice. He is the only living member of his immediate family. He was born May 12 1924 in Grenfell Saskatchewan. He later lived in Indian Head, Saskatchewan until they moved to Ontario in the 1930's.
