RINGLING ­-- Home Going Services for Mrs. Lois D. (Prentis) Branch, 92, of Ringling are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday March 3, 2018, at the Community Fellowship Outreach Center in Ringling with Bro. Jack Baron and Bro. Chad Baron officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Mrs. Lois D. (Prentis) Branch, age 92, of Ringling, departed this life on Feb. 28, 2018, at her residence North of Ringling at the age of 92 years and 2 months.

Mrs. Branch was born on Dec. 28, 1925 in Ringling to the late Mr. Clarence A. Prentis and Mrs. Blanch Naomi (Baker) Prentis. She grew up in the Ringling area and spent all of her life in this area. She graduated from Mountain Home High School in the Mountain Home Community North of Ringling.

Lois married Mr. Homer J. Branch on Dec. 22, 1945, in Duncan, Oklahoma at the Good Luck Hotel. Together they made their home in Ringling raising their two daughters Latricia and Tammy. Homer and Lois eventually built their dream home North of Ringling on the family farm where she watched her grandchildren grow up. Lois spent many hours working outside of her home tending to her flower gardens, raking leaves and picking pecans in their pecan bottoms. Lois was retired from Ringling Public Schools but her greatest pleasure in life was being a loving wife, mother, and Nana.

Lois had a great love for Christ and always wanted to set a good Christian example for others. She was a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, children’s church minister, and the first female deacon at the church. She spent many hours praying for her family and others. Lois was always a source of inspiration to those in need. Lois not only took care of her children but many other children in the community. She would always have a car load of kids taking them to and from church. Lois was always there to lend a helping hand or cook one of her delicious southern meals when needed.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Homer J. Branch in 2001; son-in-law, Tony McKinnon; brother, Marvin J. â€"Sonny” Prentis; sisters, Jackie Nelson and Billie Baker.

Lois leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Latricia Ann Henderson and husband Galen of Coppell, Texas, Tammy Lynn McKinnon Martin and husband Jackie of Ringling; grandchildren, Amber Bailey and husband Jim of Argyle, Texas, Justin Henderson and wife Jennifer of Godley, Texas, Stormy Ramon and husband Eric of Ringling, Autumn Allen and husband Rusty of Ringling, Cameron McKinnon and wife Ruslyn of Ringling; great-grandchildren, Bryant, Braden, Avery, Luke, McKenna, Paisley Jo, and Jax; sisters, Irene Snell of Ringling, Mary Greenroyd and husband Gene of Moore; Numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Casket Bearers will be Erik Ramon, Rusty Allen, Justin Henderson, Cameron McKinnon, Jim Bailey, Randy Branch, Pete Branch and Jimmy Branch.

Honorary Bearers Gene Greenroyd, Bryant Allen, Braden Bailey, Luke Bailey and Jax Ramon.

Family visitation will be held Friday evening March 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
