Bobbie Nell Hocutt Prentice, age 78, Hamilton, AL passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Winfield AL, on Saturday, January 01, 1938, to Cecil and Flora Hocutt. Bobbie was raised in Winfield and gave birth to her daughter, Debbie July 23, 1956 in Fayette AL. She moved to Hamilton in 1990 to be closer to her grandchildren and on February 22,1992 lost her daughter. Bobbie was also a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2016 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. Service will follow 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Frederick, and Bro. Mark Collier officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Prentice; daughter, Debra jean Cantrell; parents, William Cecil and Flora Hocutt; sister, Marilyn Cook; brothers, William Cecil Hocutt Jr., and Ronnie Lee Hocutt. She leaves to cherish her memory, grandsons, Dustin Cantrell, Chase Cantrell (wife, Katie); granddaughter, great-grandson, Kash Cantrell; great-granddaughter, Kaleah Melson; sister, Ramona Holmes (husband, Vernon) and a host of niece, nephew and friends.
