Juanita Belzora Prentice

Juanita was born in Winona, Kansas on November 4, 1931. The family moved to Brownwood, Texas while she was in grade school. Later they moved to Buena Vista, CO, this was during her Junior High and High School years. Meeting Bill Prentice a year after he returned from the Navy they soon married in Buena Vista, CO. They lived in Salida when their first child was born, Linda Sue, within a couple of years they moved to Denver, where Bill built their first home on two and a half acres. It was there she received Christ as her savior at 22 years of age. Her Uncle Leonard lead her to the Lord and she accepted Christ as her Savior, never doubting her salvation. The family go in church and faithfully lived for Jesus from that day forward.
Juanita had four children, Linda, Harold, Rex and Charlotte. They were all raised in church and received Christ into their lives at a early age. "They were obedient and lovely children, making their parents proud for the most par" quoted Juanita. When Linda was a senior in High School they moved to Lakewood after selling their lovely homestead, She said of Bill"He was a loving husband, Dad and a great Godly man".
They joined South Sheridan Baptist Church, and their three youngest attended South Sheridan Baptist School. They all grew in the Lord under Pastor Ed Nelson's ministry. Juanita was involved in Sunday School, summer camps, and she enjoyed work with the Set Free Prison Ministry.
When South Sheridan sold and moved the church , they started attending Ridge View Baptist Church. Pastor Ryle and his wife Joyce were a blessing to them and they continued to grow. Juanita was always willing to be used,and served faithfully there in the Nursery, Kitched help and even some counseling. She was always willing to be used where God desired to use her.
Juanita opened Prentice Health Lines in the mid 70's, and started to take classes to study about health nutrition and even learning how to balance the body for health purposes.The schooling was in , California, Nebraska, and Colorado. It was her passion to help people. She was thrilled to see people return to health! Her goal was helping others and she did!. She always gave God the Glory and God blessed her work with great sucess!!
