DAVID PRENTICE STEELE, Jr. David Prentice Steele, Jr., 70, of Lorida, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at his home. He was born February 19, 1933 in Garden City, Michigan, and had been a resident of Lorida since 2002, coming from Boynton Beach, Florida. He was a plastering contractor in the construction industry and a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He was an avid bass fisherman and attended the Lorida Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife, Shirley J. Steele, of Lorida; sons: Scott David (Sandy) Steele of Grayling, MI, Greg Prentice (Doreen) Steele of Boynton Beach, FL, and Jerome Carlyle Steele of Lake Worth, FL; daughter, Stacey J. (Anthony) Mariani of Lake Worth, FL; sister, Penny (Jim) Riley, Titusville, FL; and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11:30 AM at Lorida Church of the Brethren, 332 Bay St., Lorida, FL 33857, Rev. Sam McCaman officiating. Cremation arrangements entrusted to STEPHENSON- NELSON FUNERAL HOME, Sebring, Florida.
