Arda Mae â€"Bit†Prentiss, 55, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 with her loving family at her side. She was preceded in death by her father, James Moody â€"Tex†King; â€"Bit†is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jack Prentiss; mother, Elsie Alberta Presley; children, Jack Wade Prentiss, Blue Wayne Prentiss, Tammi Black and Scott Seals, Leah Alford and Joey Westbrook, Melody Usher and husband Ronnie, Jim â€"Bo†Seale and wife Darla, Luke Prentiss and wife Christina; sons-in-law, Jason Alford, Rodney Hulsey, Terry Black; daughters-in-law, Deanna Prentiss and Theresa Prentiss; 30 grandchildren; sister, Iva Elsie â€"Skeeter†Stevenson and husband Harry; numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2011at Rosewood Funeral Home, Porter, TX. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m.at Rosewood Memorial Park, Porter.
