PRENTICE, Charles (Chuck) M. Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday July 19th, 2009 at the age of 78. He was a loving and caring husband to Doris (nee Reid) for 59 years. Father of Dennis (Theresa), Nancy (Ross) Bateman, Mark Charles (Georgia), Jeffrey (Pol), the late (2003) Robert (Cindy), James (Jill) and Scott (Janice). Papa of 12 grandchildren and almost 8 great-grandchildren. Brother of Jean (the late John) Martin, the late Shirley and Art Matthews, Marilyn (Steve) Mesaros and Robert (Brigitta).
Chucks involvement with Boy Scouts in his early years had a positive influence on all his life. He worked for Bell Canada - Lineman to Manager during 37 years of service. Chuck was a co-founder of the Queenston Volunteer Fire Department and became Chief until his retirement. He also coached fastball for different ages for 17 years.

A gathering of family and friends at Queenston Fire Hall will be held Wednesday July 22nd from 1-5 p.m. In memory of Chuck, donations may be made to Tender Wishes, and would be appreciated by the family. Donations may be made through MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street.
