JEFFERSONVILLE PRENTICE, DR. WILSON EARL, "BUZ," 92, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at home surrounded by his family and under the compassionate care of Hospice. He was a retired orthodontist and a retired colonel in the Army Reserves serving with General Patton's 4th Armored Division in World War II. He is survived by his wife, the former Doris Vertrees; stepson, Dr. Michael Eugene Badger (Beth); stepdaughter, Cheryl Christine Watkins (Ron); grandchildren, David and Anne Badger, Brian Hayes (Brandy) and Tyler and Sarah Hansen; brother, Dixon Wright Prentice; and Mary Hissom, Bill Prentice and other nieces and nephews. His memorial service will be held at a later date. Highlands Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Donations to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
