Limestone-Judith L. Prentiss, 84, died October 5, 2017 at Van Buren following a period of declining health. She was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts July 20, 1933 the daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth (Browne) Brown. She married Arthur Prentiss and he predeceased her in 2012. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and was the bookkeeper for the family business, Arts Trucking and Repair, in Merrimack, NH for many years. Mrs. Prentiss loved animals and enjoyed caring for and riding horses. She is survived by her four children; Linda Prentiss of Merrimac, N.H., David Prentiss and wife Susan, and Mark Prentiss, all of Limestone and Lisa Prentiss of Caribou. A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday October 11, 2017 at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Lombard Rd, Caribou.
