11. ROBERT PRENTIS was born 1584 in Barling which lies at the mouth of the River Thames and about 16 miles southeast of Chelmsford in Essex County. He married (1) LUCY STONARD 8 September 1606 in Great Yeldham, Essex County, which lies about 20 miles north of Chelmsford and quite close to, and just north of Shalford and Great Saling where Valentine Prentice had his roots. Lucy was the daughter of CLEMENT STONARD. He married (2) ELIZABETH (SARAH?) BROCKET 24 July 1629 in Stepney. He married (3) ALICE GOLE 9 May 1639.
