John Prentice, a descendant of Robert Prentice of Roxbury, MA and son of Edward Prentice Jr., appears in our PRENTICE book as 235/10v. Binney indicates John was born 6 Jun 1736 but provides no further information except that John settled in Southborough, MA.
John may be the John Prentice shown by the IGI as marrying Elizabeth Amsden on 23 Nov 1775 at Southborough; if so, he would have been 39 years of age at marriage.
It is probably that same John and Elizabeth who appear in the IGI as parents of Nabby Prentice, born 2 Apr 1780 at Southborough.
It is likely that same Nabby Prentice shown by the IGI as marrying John Bond in Southborough, Worcester, MA on 19 Sep 1800.
