1. James Prentice was b. either 1861 in MI (per 1900 and 1920 cenus) or 1869 in PA (per 1910 census).
He m. Mary L. (Wood?). She was b. Mar 1871, French Canada. Children:
- Walter Prentice, b. Jun 1892, MI. He does not appear in the 1920 or 1930 census.
- Maud Prentice, b. Nov 1894, MI. She appears in the 1920 Bay City census living
in James' home with her husband, Bern Daily, b. c. 1884, MI, and son:
- Harry Daily, b. c. 1912, MI.
- Emma Prentice, b. Nov 1895, MI
- Alverna Prentice, b. c. 1903, MI.
- Floyd Prentice, b. c. 1904. Not in 1930 census. He may be the Floyd Prentice shown in the Social Security Death Index as b. 2 Mar 1906 and d. 4 Oct 1987 at Flint, Genesee, MI.
