1. James L. Prentice was b. Feb 1861 in OH. He m. Elizabeth Smith on 1 Jan 1882 in Ottawa Co., OH (per Marriage Index). She was b. Oct 1867 in OH.
James and Elizabeth appear in the 1900 Ottawa Co., OH census. They moved to MI sometime between 1906 and 1910 because they later appear in the 1910 Mesick, Wexford Co., MI census. Children:

She m. c. 1910 before the 1910 census was taken because she does not appear with her family in the census. She m. Frank Earl Trowbridge. He was b. 1 Jan 1890 in Wexford Co., MI. Children (per Ancestry.com):
