Who are George W. Prentice's Parents?

In reviewing the 1870 NY census, there appears to be 2 sons born in that period, but neither fit:

  1. George, son of George Prentice (b. c. 1847, NY) and his wife, Elsie, of Ossian, Livingston Co., NY, is #534 in our John3 eBook, but he m. in PA and in 1920 was living in PA.
  2. And, he is probably not the son of Horace Prentice (b. c. 1843) and his wife, Catherine, of Volney, Oswego Co., NY, who our records show m. Agnes in NY.
