Mary B. "Cissy" Prentiss Naples, FL Mary B. "Cissy" Prentiss 72, of Naples, FL died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at her residence. A former resident of Dallas, TX, Cissy had resided in Naples since 2008. She was born November 22, 1943, in Dallas, a daughter of the late Ross J. and Frances (Reichenstein) Bedell. Cissy loved to read, travel and enjoyed a good round of golf.

She and her late husband, Robert H. Prentiss, were the owners of Technimed of Texas, Inc., an Orthopedic Implant distribution company. They sold the company shortly after Robert's death in 1992.

Cissy is survived by her three children, Stephanie Kissinger and her husband, Steven, of Bonita Springs, FL; Richard J. Prentiss and his wife, Julie Tugaw Prentiss of Plano, TX; and Robert H. Prentiss and his wife, Debbie, of Boerne, TX.; two brothers, William Bedell and his wife, Diane of Boulder, CO and Robert Bedell of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Elizabeth Carlson and her husband, Ron, of Boulder, CO and Lebyana Bedell also of Boulder, CO.; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, September 23, 2016, at 3:00 PM at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So. Tamiami Tr., Bonita Springs. Additional services and burial will be held at the Sparkman- Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, TX at a later date. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Cissy's name be made to the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Wheelchair Foundation P.O. Box 474, Bonita Springs, FL 34133. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.ShikanyFuneralHome.com. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home.
