1. Richard H. Prentiss, b. c. 1925-1932, perhaps in NY or NJ. n 2016 he was living in Key Largo, FL, where his wife died.
He m. Mary Elizabeth Ellis. She was b. c. 1932 in New Brunswick, NJ, and d. 10 Feb 2016, Key Largo, FL. Her obituary reads as follows:

:p>Mary Elizabeth [Ellis] Prentiss, 84, of Foscoe, North Carolina and Key Largo, Florida passed away peacefully
February 10, 2016.
She was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and was an Honor Society graduate of New Brunswick High School and Rutgers University majoring in Journalism. She enjoyed reading and teaching children, and put those passions to work as an elementary school teacher in New Jersey and Florida. She also enjoyed traveling and the great outdoors, especially if water was involved, and had many amazing experiences with her husband, family and friends.
Church was always a very important part of her life and she was very active at the Anglican church of Christ the King in Boone.She actively participated in several book discussion groups and Bible study groups.
Family was at the heart of everything Mary did, and she was a very caring and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, and is survived by her husband of 60 years Richard H. Prentiss; son and daughter-in-law Ric and Paula Prentiss; sisters Helen Wicks and Ruth Murray; brother and sister-in-law Clifford and Carol Ellis; and grandchildren Patrick and Katie Prentiss.
A celebration of Marys life will be held at the Echota on the Ridge clubhouse in Foscoe on October 15, 2016. Dress will be Marys favorite, Casual.
