1. Unknown Prentiss, perhaps b. c. 1930-1940. He is not mentioned in his wife's obituary, so he probably was either deceased or divorced.

He m. Judith A Lange.. She was b. c. 1939 in Lancaster, MA, and d. 1 Sep 2014, Lancaster, MA. Her obituary reads as follows:

    Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA) - Friday, September 5, 2014 : Judith Prentiss

    LANCASTER - Judith A. (Lange) Prentiss, 75, a lifelong resident of Lancaster, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, Sept. 1, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

    She is survived by her four sons, Dana Prentiss and companion, Rob Denoncourt, of Marlboro, Dale Prentiss and wife, Robyn, of Lancaster, Dean Prentiss and wife, Tammy, of Fitchburg and Dann Prentiss of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Hannah Prentiss of Shirley, James, Maxwell and Miranda Prentiss, all of Fitchburg, Adam, Noah and Abigail Prentiss, all of Lancaster; her brother, Nils W. Lange and wife, Jo Ann Cooley, of Clinton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    She was born to the late Warren and Elaine (Harris) Lange, attended local schools, and was a graduate of the Lancaster High School Class of 1957. Throughout her career, she worked in various capacities, including as a cafeteria worker with the Lancaster Middle School, as a librarian for the Lancaster Town Library, as a clerk with MCI Lancaster and later as the primary bookkeeper for Superior Heating and AC in Lancaster. She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church in Lancaster, she held membership with the Current Topics Club and served on the Republican Town Committee. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. She enjoyed summers along the Maine coast and time spent with her sons and grandchildren.

    A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, in the Evangelical Congregational Church, 793 Main St., Lancaster, with burial to follow in Eastwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Contributions may be made in memory of Judy Prentiss to: American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave. Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com.
