He m. Margaret R. Redpath on 10 Jul 1936. She was b. 8 Sep 1915, Edinburgh, Scotland, and d. 25 Jan 1997, Scallop Shell Nursing Home, Peace Dale, Washington Co., RI. Bur. Lehighton Cem., Carbon Co., PA. Dau. of William Redpath and Margaret Drysdale. Her obituary reads as follows:

    Morning Call, The (Allentown, PA) - Tuesday, January 28, 1997: MARGARET R. PRENTICE

    Margaret R. Prentice, 81, formerly of Lehighton, died Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Scallop Shell Nursing Home, Peace Dale, R.I. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Prentice. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Drysdale) Redpath. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Lehighton.

    Survivors: Daughter, Margaret Butler of Saunderston, R.I.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Memorial services: To be announced, Cranston Funeral Home, Wickford, R.I.

Dau. of Thomas and Margaret:

  1. Margaret Prentice. She m. Mr. Butler and in 1997 lived in Saunderston, RI.
