1. Robert Prentice may have been b. c. 1912-1915 at an unknown location and d. before 2007. He lived in Santa Clara Co., CA, since approximately 1956. He may be either (1) the Robert Prentice, b. 20 Jul 1915 and d. 22 Apr 2000 in Saratoga, Santa Clara Co., CA, or (2) Roberrt E. Prentice, b. 7 Nov 1915 amd d/ 6 Apr 2001 in Santa Clara, Santa Clara Co., CA.

He m. Alene Naveau c. 1956. Her obituary reads as follows:

    San Jose Mercury News (CA) - Monday, September 10, 2007

    Alene Naveau Prentice 11 April 1915 - 05 Sept. 2007 Passed away peacefully in Sunnyvale, California, at the age of 92. Born in East St. Louis, IL, Alene lived in California most of her life.

    Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert, of 51 years; they lived in Santa Clara County their entire married life.

    Alene is survived by her five children; Leonard R. Iosty and wife Susan, Valerie Iosty, Sheri Moore and husband Bob; Robert Prentice and wife, Kimberly Schotterbeck and husband; loving grandaughter Kerry Maciel and husband Steve as well as thirteen other grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

    The family wishes to thank Vitas Hospice for their support and wonderful care they provided during Alene's last months with us. A family Memorial Service is being held at a later date.
