1. Mark Wilson Prentice was b. 21 Dec 1932 in IL, and d. 17 May 1994, Stanislaus Medical Center, Modestto, Stanislauus Co., CA, age 61. He is bur. in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Section 12, Site 1142, Santa Nella, CA.. Military Service in the US Air Force, AIC, Korea. He had been an 18 year resident of Ceres, CA, since about 1976. His obituary reads as follows:

Mark Wilson Prentice, 61, of Ceres died Tuesday at Stanislaus Medical Center, Modesto. Mr. Prentice was a native of Illinois. He lived in Ceres 18 years. He a manager for Wisconsin Electric for nine years. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. He served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957.
He is survived by his children, Debra Riley of Ceres and Charles Prentice of Sacramento; and three grandchildren.
No public services. Private burial at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 285, Modesto 95353
He m. Beverly Ann Johnson, but they later divorced her on 10 May 1978, Stanislaus Co., CA. Children:
- Debra Prentice, b. MN. She m. Mr. Riley and in 1994 lived in Ceres, CA.
- Charles Prentice. In 1994 lived in Sacramento, CA.
All we know for now is that CA Death Index shows his mother's surname was Gibbons.
