1. Howard Prentice, was b. c. 1884 in Ohio. He appears with his wife in the 1940 census in Youngstown, Mahoning Co., OH. His occupation was given as Locomotive Engineer. He is shown with an 8th grade education.
He m. Marjorie who was b. c. 1894, NY. She also had an 8th grade education. No children are shown.
Howard, with his wife, Marjorie, do not appear in the 1930 and earlier census records. Neither does Howard Prentice appear in earlier census records in Youngstown, Both circumstances make it difficult to identify his parents and trace his roots.
Investigation is continuing.
