I am new to this genealogy and we were searching our family tree using my great grandmother's name Mary Ann Bunderwravcha when I came across your article. We have not heard of the alternative surname Balsavitch used in your article? We do know that my great grand parents lived and worked in Preston around the time that Walter was born so this may be the reason you cannot find them in the 1901 census of Brentford. We would be very interested to know if Walter had any siblings? Walter did have a long and decorated army career serving with the Seaforth Highlanders."

Who are Antony Prentice's Parents?

Investigation is continuing.
