Windsor Co., VT. Both were then living in Bethel, Windsor Co., VT. He was b. in VT on 26 Mar 1941.
He was the son of Dwight Townsend
and Thelga Stoddard. Ref: Vermont Marriage Records .
Thelga Stoddard is likely the Thelga C. Stoddard who appears in the 1930 census in Brookjfield, Orange Co., VT, as b. c. 1919, VT, dau. of Alland M. Stoddard (b. c. 1892, VT) and Ethel M. (b. c. 1889, VT).
