We decided to prepare an article about William Prentiss using census records. He appears in the 1901 and 1911 census in Masham, Wright, Quebec, Canada, with his wife and family.What we found were differencies in birth information the 1901 information is in regular type and the 1911 information is in bold type:

1. Archibald "Archie" Prentiss, b. Feb 1883 (b. Feb 1884). At home in 1901 census.
2. Irwin Prentiss, b. May 1885 (b. Apr 1886). At home in 1901 census.
3. James Prentiss, b. Jan 1889 (b. May 1887). At home in 1901 census.
4. Clara Prentiss, b. Jun 1891 (b. Jun 1891). At home in 1901 census.
5. Mary Francis Prentiss, b. May 1894 (b. Jul 1893). At home in 1901 census.
6. William Prentiss, b. Jun 1898 (b. Jul 1897). At home in 1901 census.
7. Dora Prentiss, b. Jun 1904. At home in the 1911 census.
