Another Black Prentis

William Prentice, a Black, was b. c. 1865 in St. Kitts and Nevis. He appears in the 1920 census in Princes Quarter, St Croix Island, Virgin Islands, with his wife a family. The census records indicats that is able to read or write.

He is shown on the census as m. to Ella M., Black, b. c. 1882, Nevis. Children:

  1. Esau Prentice 20
  2. Hilda E Prentice 16
  3. Martha A Prentice 14

Also living with the family was Leter D Ec Marshall, b. c. 1918, St. Croix, a grandson.
