Thurston Prentis, a Black, was b. c. 1880 in St. Kitts and Nevis. He appears in the 1920 census in Princes Quarter, St Croix Island, Virgin Islands, as a Land Renter with his wife a family. The census records indicats that is unable to read or write.
He is shown on the census as "commnally married" to Matilda, Black, b. c. 1882, Nevis. Children:
