He married, first, Frances "Fannie" Kattell/Katell, 17 Jul 1864, in Kattelville, Broome, NY [269] (per IGI). Born, circa 1844 Kattelville, Broome, NY). She is probably the Francis Kitel, dau., b. c. 1814, NY, who appears in the 1860 census in Chenango, Broome Co., NY, with her parents, Alonzo Kitel, b. c. 1814, NY) and Alma (b. c. 1815, NY).

Children:

  1. Thaddeus Prentice. [1016]. He is likely the Thaddeus Prentice shown in the 1920 census in Elmira, Chemung Co., NY census as b. c. 1884, with his wife, Reno, b. c. 1884, NY, and children:
