In reviewing the IGI, we found the following family:

1. Samuel Prentice was probably b. c. 1765-1776, perhaps in Norwich, Norfolk, England where his children were born.

He m. Martha Bull. Childen per IGI:

1. Mary Prentice, chr. 18 Sep, 1797, Saint Martin At Oak, Norwich, Norfolk, England
2. Elizabeth Prentice, chr. 15 Jun 1800, Saint Martin At Oak, Norwich, Norfolk, England
3. Sarah Prentice, chr. 9 Oct 1791, Saint Martin At Oak, Norwich, Norfolk, England
4. Samuel Prentice, chr. 2 Aug 1795, Saint Martin At Oak, Norwich, Norfolk, England. He may, or may not, be the Samuel Prentice shown in the 1851 Norwich St. Clement, Norfolk, census as b. c. 1796, Norwich, with his wife, Elizabeth, b. c. 1790, Gloucestershire, England; no children shown at home and none in the IGI.
5. Ann Prentice, chr. 25 Oct 1789, Saint Martin At Oak, Norwich, Norfolk, England

In checking the IGI, we found the following family which may, or may not, be the correct family:

1. William Prentice, b. c. 1740. He m. Mary Moore on 29 Apr 1766 at Fundenhall. Children:

1. Samuel Prentice, b. c. 1775-1777, Norfolk, England (2 different entries with different birth dates).
2. Susan Prentice, b. c. 1775, Norfolk.
3. Sarah Prentice, b. c. 1798, Norfolk.
