He m. Elizabeth and had 2 or more children, including (per IGI)
- Mary Prentice, chr. 2 Oct 1759, St. Giles Cripplegate. She might be the Mary Prentice who m. Joshua Sugden on 28 Aug 1770 in St. Giles Cripplegate (per IGI).
- John Prentice, chr. 29 Jan 1762, St. Giles Cripplegate, London
