  7. Elizabeth Prentice, b. c. 1862, Alloa. At home in 1871. A servant in the 1881 and 1891 Alloa census. Although additional investigation is needed for confirmation, she may be the Elizabeth Jane Prentice shown in Ancestry.com who m. Alexander Hardie on 4 Jun 1891 in Alloa, Scotland. He was the son of James Hardie and Jane McNaughten. Elizabeth Jane and Alexander had 1 or more children, including:
    1. Helen Hardie, b. 2 Jun 1898, Dunfermline, Scotland, and d. 1 Nov 1928, Dumbries, Scotland. She m. William Creasey on 31 Oct 1919, Troqueer, Kirkudbrightshire, Scotland.
