1. Frederick Prentiss was b. 9 Mar 1905, obtained his SS# in NJ, and d. Aug 1985 in Morris Plains, Morris Co., NJ.

He m. Helen L. Koelsch. She was b. 1910, Morristown, NJ, and d. Monday, 6 Mar 2006, at Holly Manor Nursing Home, following a brief illness. She was 96. Her obituary reads, in part, as follows:

    [Helen] was born in Morristown and lived in Morris Township for 75 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Morris Plains Presbyterian Church.

    Her husband, Frederick, died in 1985. Survivors include her daughter, Joan Hughes of Morris Township; her sister, Dorothy Silver of Florida; her grandchildren, Joan, Barry, Kenneth, and Theodore Cameron; and her great-grandchildren, Meredith Rae, Christopher, Dianna, and Theodore.

    A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, at 10 a.m. at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 9, at 9:30 a.m. until the service at 10 a.m.
