1. Corey Prentice may have been b. c. 1945-1950 at an unknown location. He was living in 2004. He might be the Corey Prentice shown in a 2002 internet phone directory as living at 1908 Se Krista St., Port Ochard, WA 98367-9538, Tel. 360-895-1922. The little that is known about him comes from the obituary of his wife published in The Wilson Co. News in Floresville, TX on 13 Apr 2004.

He m. Candice E. Booth on 16 Mar 1968 in Monroe, (WA?). She was b. 4 Jan 1950 in Montgomery, AL and d. 16 Jul 2002 at her home. She was the dau. of Elmer Booth and Dorrine Johnson. She graduated from the nursing program at Everett Community College in 1975. She lived in Monroe for 20 years, working at Valley General Hospital in the emergency department and at Monroe Convalescent Center. She later worked as a registered nurse at Providence Hospital in Everett. She was a devout Christian. She loved spending time with her family, riding horses, playing cribbage, trout fishing and making pancakes. Children:

  1. Tod McLaughlin (perhaps a son by a prior marriage?) and his wife, Lori, of Wenatchee.
  2. Christine (McLaughlin?). She m. Eric Bruner and in 2004 lived in Woodbridge, VA.
  3. Josie (McLaughlin?). She m. Ivan Bratchuk and in 2004 lived in Portland, OR.

Candice's obituary also mentions a sister, Tamara Schultz and her husband, Mick, of Newport, Wash.; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Sidney, Kaele and Jessica. She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven E. Booth.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dalkena Community Church in Usk, WA. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
