    Paul Aloysius Prentice Jr., 66, died Monday, July 18, 1994, in Red Lake (Minn.) Public Health Services Hospital. Paul Prentice Jr. was born Oct. 25, 1927, in Redlake, the son of Paul and Mary Jane (Martin) Prentice.

    He served in the Army during World War II, and he married Marian Needham Feb. 17, 1951, in Redby. He worked at Redlake Indian Mills, Minneapolis park construction, the U.S. Public Health Service, Operation Mainstream and the Elderly Maintenance Repair Program, and he served on the Red Lake Tribal Council.

    His wife survives with a son, Charles, Redlake; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Rodney, Redlake; and sisters, Dorothy Beaulieu, Cass Lake, Minn., and Elsie Fairbanks, St Paul. He was preceded in death by a son; a grandson; two brothers; and six sisters.

    Services: 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Redlake. Visitation: Through noon Thursday in Redby Community Center (Olson-Schwarz, Bemidji).

Lee Charles Prentice has an obituary naming Paul and Marian as his grandparents, and his father as Bruce Stately and mother as Barbara Prentice Stately Westbrook, but his mother's and father's relationship to Paul and Marian is not clear. Lee's obituary reads as follows:

    Lee Charles Prentice, 19, Redby, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 1992, in Lower Red Lake while fishing.

    Lee Charles Prentice was born April 24, 1973, the son of Bruce and Barbara (Prentice) Stately, in Red Lake, Minn., where he grew up. He worked as a self-employed fisherman.

    Survivors are his daughter, Crystal Lee May, Red Lake; mother and stepfather. Barbara (Mrs.Tom) Westbrook, Redby; father, Bruce Stately, Minneapolis; brother, Chad, and sisters, Julie Westbrook and Lindsey Westbrook, all of Redby; grandparents, Paul and Marian Prentice, Vivian Stately, Minneapolis, and Leonard Stately, of Redby; great-grandparents, Julia and Frank Lajeunesse, Red Lake; special friend, Nola Parkhurst, Red Lake; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

    Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Redby Community Center. Visitation: After 5 p.m. today in Redby Community enter. Arrangements are with Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Burial: Lutheran Cemetery, Redby.
