Update of 24 Aug 2004: Elliott Arthur Prentice is a descendant of Zachariah Prentice of Brookings, SD, about whom we have an article in our Spring 1999 database.
1. Elliott Arthur Prentice was b. 11 Jun 1892 in South Dakota and d. 9 Feb 1956 in Los Angeles, CA (per CA Death Records). He appears in the 1930 census in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles Co., CA with his wife, Violet, b. c. 1895, KY, and son:
- Elliott Arnold Prentice Jr., b. c. 1923, SD.
Ellliott does not seem to appear in the 1900 and 1920 SD census. The only clue we have so far is from the SSDI which indicates that his mother's maiden surname was Rice.
