With the invaluable help of Ian Prentice and his email of 7 Aug 2001, and additional information from the IGI, we have constructed the following family tree:In reviewing the IGI, we noted the Prentices of Moulton Near Spalding, Lincoln, England and have constructed the following tentative family tree.

1. Richard Prentice was probably b. c. 1555-65, lived in Cranwell (near Sleaford in North West Lincolnshire) and had the following children:

1. Andrew Prentice, b. c. 1585-87. He was a yeoman of Bourne who married Bridget Hucot at Stamford in 1611; afer her death he married Eleanor; after Andrew's death Eleanor married William Stevens of Tickencote at Whitwell in Northamptonshire on 9 Aug 1621. Andrew's children included:
   1. Mathew Prentice, chr. 6 Nov 1614, Bourne, Lincoln, England. He may have m. Sarah Kempe in 1652 in Little Shelford, Cambridgeshire.
   2. Richard Prentice, chr. 6 Dec 1618, Bourne, Lincoln.
   3. William Prentice, chr. 10 Mar 1615, Bourne, Lincoln.
2. Thomas Prentice, chr. 14 Apr 1588, Cranwell.
3. John Prentice, chr. 6 Nov 1589, Cranwell.
4. Agnes Prentice, chr. 3 Jan 1590, Cranwell.

   4. Rebecca Prentice, b. 1678. She m. William Walker in 1703 in Gayton in the Marsh.

3. Robert Prentice, b. 1634 in Mumby and d. 1686 leaving a Will. He was a Husbandman of Moulton Near Spalding. He m. Ellen who d. 1692. Children:

3. Anne Prentice. She m. Mr. Crooke of Weston Lincolnshire.

4. Christopher Prentice, b. 1713 and d. 1759, leaving a Will. He was a Cordwainer of Toynton All Saints. He m. 1st Elizabeth Lingley in 1750 in Toynton. He m. 2nd Mary. Children by either, or both, wives:
   1. Elizabeth Prentice, b. 1754, Moulton Near Spalding.
   2. Sarah Prentice, b. 1756, Toynton.

6. Robert Prentice, b. 1689, Moulton Near Spalding. He m. Mary (called Annae in IGI). Children:

8. Johannes Prentice, chr. 20 Sep 1692 is probably the John Prentice who m. Jane Bennet on 21 Jul 1722 at Moulton Near Spalding, Lincoln, England. Known children:
