In reviewing the IGI, and with the help of Ian Prentice, we found the following Prentice family in Battisford, Suffolk, England which lies about 5 miles south of Stowmarket about 2 miles WSW of Needham Market, and perhaps 9-10 miles NW of Ipswich:
1. David Prentice was likely b. c. 1770-75. m. Elizabeth and had:
- Elizabeth Prentice, b. 16 May 1796, Baptist Meeting House, Wattisham, Suffolk, England 1796, Wattisham.
- Hannah Prentice, b. 1798. She m. John Sarnders on 21 Oct 1817 at Battisford.
- David Prentice, b. 1800, Stowmarket. He m. Hannah Phillips on 27 Nov 1821 at Battisford.
