1. Joseph Prenter was b. c. 1844 in PA, with both of his parents b. in Ireland.
Joseph does not in the 1850 or 1860 census. He appears in the 1880 Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA census with his wife and family. We have prepared this article on the off-chance that his real name might be "Prentice."
He m. Jennie, b. c. 1848, PA. Known children:
- Jennie Prenter, b. c. 1869, PA.
- Mamie Prenter, b. c. 1971, PA.
- Loretta Prenter, b. c. 1878, PA.
