We are helping Catriona Sammons of Auckland, New Zealand in tracing the family tree of her maternal grandfather, David Prentice. Here is what we have so far:

1. (Unknown) Prentice was b. c. 1870-85 and perhaps in, or near, E. Kilbride, Lanark, Scotland. He had 1 or more children, including:

  1. David Prentice, b. 1904, E. Kilbride. . . . . . . [2]
  2. Robert Prentice. Married and had children.
  3. Helen Prentice. Did not marry.
  4. Jean Prentice. Did not marry.
  5. (perhaps) Alex Prentice. Married and had children.

2. David Prentice was b. 1904 in E. Kilbride (Glasgow), Lanark, Scotland. He married and had descendants living in New Zealand, Canada and Paris.CatrionaSammons catriona.sammons@nma.co.nz
