This bible was purchased by PrenticeNet, in December 2012.
New Testament, printed and published in Boston by S. Walker.
No print date, but assumed to be early 1800s. Includes four pages of hand-written family records, and an inscription that indicates the bible was a gift from son (Charles William Bradley, ae.24) to his mother (Ann Maria Prentice Bradley, ae.44) in 1831. This inscription is shown below. All notes are written in the same hand and likely at the same time.
We know very little about this family other than it looks like this Jonas Prentice was the son of Dea. Samuel Prentice, of Stonington, CT (page 170 of Binney, 1883).
