He was married to Mariah GREENE about 1828 in Jackson or Marshall Co., Alabama. Mariah GREENE was born on Dec 5 1807 in Tennessee. She died between 1870 and 1880 in Giles Co., Tennessee. She was buried in Campbellsville Cemetery, Giles County, Tennessee. See note under Ada Bowden for the source of Mariah's name and
spelling.Mariah sold her land in about 1862 then moved to Giles County,
Tennessee with a number of her sons and daughters and inlaws.
