The Will of Ebenezer Prentice of Stonington, Ct.
Source: Connecticut, New London District, Probate Records, Vol. 5, p. 236, FHL microfilm 5607.
Transcriber's Note: I separated the "items" in paragraphs to make the will easier to read but I kept spelling as in the original. For the most part, punctuation was lacking. The microfilm copy was difficult to read but, except for a couple words I left blank, I believe that my transcription is accurate. The name "Peris" was difficult to decipher. However the "e" in the words "ten" and "item" appeared to be the same as the second letter of that name. This, of course, is a transcription of a copy of the will made by the clerk. It is not a transcription of the original will.
PrenticeNet Note: It is assumed that this Ebenezer Prentice is the son of Deacon Samuel Prentice, ancestor of Capt. Thomas Prentice of Cambridge.
