PRENTICE, Alice - On Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at the Linhaven Nursing Home, Alice passed away peacefully at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Robert O. Prentice (1996). Dear mother of Jean Martin of St. Catharines and her husband the late John, the late Shirley Matthews of Niagara-on-the-Lake and her husband the late Arthur, Charles and his wife Doris of St. Davids, Marilyn and her husband Steve Mesaros of Niagara Falls and Robert and his wife Brigitta of Niagara-on-the-Lake, proud grandma of 21 and great grandma of 24 and great great grandma of 4. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Prentice is at the NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 415 Regent Street. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday at the church from 10 - 11 oclock. Services to celebrate her life will be held on Monday at 11 oclock at St. Davids-Queenston-United Church. Interment will follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. In memory of Alice, memorial contributions may be made to the Tender Wishes Foundation.
