He m. Yetta Lucille Rousek was b. 2 Jan 1940 in Muskogee,OK, and d. 17 Sep 2003 in Oklahoma City, OK. Her obituary reads as follows:

    PRENTICE Yetta Lucille, 63, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003, in Oklahoma City. She was born January 2, 1940, in Muskogee, OK.

    Yetta was a longtime resident of Oklahoma City. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO, and eventually received her BA in Education with majors in Speech and History from Central State University. While there, she was a member of the Dean's Honor Roll. Yetta was active in many civic and religious organizations including: Vice President, Oklahoma City University Library Society; Executive Board Member, Oklahoma City University Opera Society; past member of the Board of Directors, Oklahoma Theatre Center; past member of the Board of Directors, Ballet Oklahoma; Oklahoma Museum of Art Docent; English Speaking Union; Alliance Francaise; Kiwi Club, an organization of former American Airlines Stewardesses; Oriental Brushwork Society; Oklahoma Art League; Bookmark Club; Presbyterian Urban Mission; Christian Womens' Club; OCU Societies.

    Yetta was an oriental brushwork artist, with works on display annually at the Kirkpatrick Center. She was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. Yetta was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Juanita Frye Rousek, and her cousin, Ed Porter Frye.

    Survivors include her son Derek Michael Prentice and his wife, Dara Derryberry Prentice, and her grandchildren, Tristan Michael Prentice and Ava Gale Prentice.

    In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the Presbyterian Urban Missions, 3737 N. Portland, OKC, OK 73112. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2003, at Westminister Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. SMITH & KERNKE 14624 N. MAY AVE
