He m. Sarah F. Butler Her obituary reads as follows:

    Sarah F. Butler, November 22, 1921 - December 12, 2014

    Columbus, GA- Sarah F. Butler, age 93, resident of Columbus, died on Friday December 12, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled at Wynnton United Methodist Church, Columbus on Monday December 15, 2014 at 2pm, with Reverend (Dr.) Frank Parr officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 14, 2014 from 3-5pm at Striffler-Hamby of Columbus.

    Mrs. Butler, daughter of the late Walter J. Fountain and Clancie Verner Fountain, was born November 22, 1921 in Wilcox County, Georgia. She was a homemaker and member of Wynnton United Methodist Church.

    She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters;

    She was preceded in death by former husbands, Robert F. Bennett Jr. and Doyle P. Butler.

    She is survived by her 3rd husband Keith F. Prentice Jr. of Columbus (probably widower of Jean Trundle who d. 2010. Keith is probably the Keith F. Prentice Jr. b. 26 Feb 1931, Columbus, Georgia.)

    Sarah also survived by two sons, Robert Butler and his wife Janice of Cumming, Georgia; Charles Butler and his wife Deborah of Powder Springs, Georgia; three grandchildren, Doyle Scott Butler and his wife Meredith of Atlanta, Georgia; Valerie Lynn Williamson and her husband Tony of Louisville, Kentucky; Phillip Butler and his wife Ashley of Atlanta, Georgia; two great granddaughters, Reese Lauren Butler and Jennifer Elizabeth Deerwester; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

    In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Wynnton United Methodist Church, Youth Center, 2412 Wynnton Road Columbus, Georgia 31906 or your favorite charity .
