1. James Prentice was b. c. 1935-1040 at an unknown location. In 2001 he was living in Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri, where his wife died.
He m. Nancy Lynn Hanson, b. 23 Jul 1939, Williamsburg, MO, and d. 20 Apr 2001, Springfield, Greene Co., MO. She was the daughter of Robert L. "Bob" and Geraldine Griffin Hanson. Her obituary reads as follows:

Nancy L. Hanson Prentice, 61, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Williamsburg and Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., died Friday, April 20, 2001, at Cox Walnut Lawn Hospital in Springfield following a long illness.
Nancy Lynn Hanson was born July 23, 1939, in Williamsburg, the daughter of Robert L. "Bob" and Geraldine Griffin Hanson. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1958 and attended the University of Iowa, Iowa City. She married James Prentice on May 11, 1963, in Kansas City, Mo. Besides being a homemaker, Nancy was a bookkeeper for many years. The couple lived in St. Louis for 25 years, then moved to Lake of the Ozarks, where they resided for 10 years and then spent the last two years in Springfield, Mo. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; her mother, Geraldine Hanson of Williamsburg, and two brothers, Michael Hanson and wife Sherry of Butte, Mont., and Stephen Hanson and wife Loretta of Williamsburg.
Her father preceded her in death.
Graveside services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Williamsburg, with Father Joseph Roost officiating. There will be no visitation. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be contributed to the American Cancer Society.
No children of James and Nancy are mentioned in her obituary.
