1. Mr. Prentice may have been b. c. 1910-1915, perhaps in MA where his wife was born. By the time of her 1997 death, they were divorced per Ancestry.com .

He m. Agnes Julia Fenton was b. 24 May 1915, Springfield, MA, and d. 25 Jan 1997, Wethersfield, CT, age 81. Dau. of Daniel Fenton and Mary Shea. Her obituary reads as follows:

    AGNES F. PRENTICE, 81; OF WETHERSFIELD

    Agnes Fenton Prentice of Wethersfield died Friday at Hartford Hospital. She was 81. She was born in Springfield and was a longtime Hartford-area resident. She worked at Hartford Ball for 30 years, retiring in 1980.

    She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elena and Richard Chacho of Manchester and Patricia and Walter Ulias of Cromwell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Catherine and Francis Byrnes and Theresa and John Wazer, all of Rocky Hill; and a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Josephine Fenton of Hebron.

    The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, 6 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450.

Children of Mr. Prentice and Agnes:

  1. Elena Prentice. She m. Richard Chacho and in 1997 lived in Manchester, CT.
  2. Patricia Prentice. She m. Walter Ulias and in 1997 lived in Cromwell, CT.
