1. Unknown Prentiss may have been b. c. 1890-1900, and perhaps in, or near, Worcester, Worcester Co., MA, where his wife was living in 1930 and 1940. He does not appear with his family in the 1920 census and either died or was divorced sometime before 1930 where his wife appears with a new husband in the 1930 census.

He m. Lydia who was b. c. 1897, MA. They had 3 children according to census records:

  1. Emma M. Prentiss, b. c. 1917, MA. 1930 and 1940 at home.
  2. Mary C. Prentiss, b. c. 1919, MA. 1930 at home. 1940 not home.
  3. Francis H. Prentiss, son, b.7 Sep 1920, Worcester, MA, and d. there Apr 1985. 1930 at home. 1940 at home.

Lydia m. 2nd Napoleon A. Bachand/Bachaud after 1920 and before 1930. He was b. c. 1880, RI. No additional children for them are shown in the 1930 and 1940 census. Lydia is shown as married in the 1940 census, but he does not appear in the household.
