1. James Prentice was b. c. 1905 in MA. He first appears in the 1940 census in Niagara Falls, Niagara Co., New York, with his wife and daughter. He had 1 year of college and his occupation was "Chemical Research."
He m. Evelyn, b. c. 1906 in "Canada English." They had 1 or more children, including:
- Barbara Prentice, b. c. 1929, "Canada English." 1940 at home in Niagara Falls, NY.
James Prentice seems not to appear in 1930 and earlier US census records, perhaps he was living in Canada. The 1940 census says he had an "Inferred Residence in 1935 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada."
Investigation is continuing.
