1. Harry Prentis was b. c. 1898 in Pennsylvania. He appears in the 1940 census in New York, New York County, NY. The census indicates he was laborer with an 8th grade education. He does not appear in earlier census records. He was single.
The only clue we have so far is that both of his parents were born in England. They may have emigrated to, but we cannot yet say because Harry might have emigrated without them if he were an adult.
Investigation is continuing.
