1. Robert A. G. Prentice may have been b. c. 1910-1920, perhaps in England. On 12 Jan 1946 he was identified as Major Robert A. G. Prentice of the 7th Gurkha Rifles when he married in Karachi, India.
On that date he was also identified as a twin son of Lt. Col. F. D. Prentice, R.A.O.C Depot, Branston, Burton-on-Trent, [England?].
He m. Yvonne Burke on 12 Jan 1946, dau. of Major and Mrs. Burke, Quetta, India. She was the widow of Capt. R. H. Challiss, R.A. Capt, R. H. Challiss is likely the same person who is mentioned in the following Memoriam posting:
- Roll of Honor--In Memoriam. Challis: In sad memory of my only son, Robert Harold [Challiss],
Lieut., R.A., who was killed in action in Burma, 18th April 1942, aged 25 years. Dearly loved and sadly
missed by his mother and loved ones.
